The following rules will strictly apply with regard to filing of motions at the Court of Appeal, with effect from 25/08/2025.
- All motions to file documents such as objections, counter objections, written submissions etc. should be filed on or before the date specifically stipulated for filing and not on or before the date the case is to be mentioned.
 - All motions seeking further time for filing of a document or to get a case mentioned in advance before the next court date, should be filed at least three (3) working days prior to the date so stipulated or the date already fixed.
 - Written submissions, in matters which are reserved for judgment or order, should be filed on or before the dates granted by Court and any written submission filed after such date will not be entertained or minuted hereafter.
 - When filing fresh Applications or moving for an advancement or a postponement of a court date , three (3) mention dates should be suggested, to allow Court to grant a suitable date to facilitate the daily management of cases and the smooth administration of justice.
