I have been directed by the Hon. President of the Court of Appeal, to inform that Petitioners who file writ applications moving that they be taken up on an urgent basis should indicate in the accompanying motion, the following:
- The basis on which the matter is to be considered urgent .
- The reasons as to why the application could not be made earlier and in due time.
However, it is purely based on the discretion of court, if satisfied of such grounds, that the matter would be entertained.
