Hon. Justice Sobhitha Rajakaruna has been appointed as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal by His Excellency the President with effect from 07th August 2023 until the return of Hon. Justice Bandula Karunarathna, President of the Court of Appeal to the Island. 

Hon. Acting President of the Court of Appeal will sit along with Hon. Justice M.A.R. Marikar in Court No. 301 with effect from 08th August 2023 until the return of the Hon. President of the Court of Appeal to the Island.
